Green Stewardship

Green Stewardship International (GSI) is an environmental non-governmental organization motivated by the Christian principle of stewardship. We believe that caring for the environment is essentially caring for our neighbours, ourselves and our common future.

Scope of the Assignment

GSI had a website that, while serving as a placeholder, wasn’t fully aligned with their goals. It lacked the visual storytelling to engage visitors, the structure to clearly convey their programmes, and the user-flow that invited action (whether volunteering, donating, or joining). They needed the website to do more than exist—it needed to connect.

Our Approach & Solution

As the design and development partner, Trybal Mark began by listening. Understanding the organization’s values, story, and goals became the foundation for everything that followed.

From there, Trybal Mark mapped out a plan that included:

  • Streamlined information architecture – A logical flow from homepage → about → programmes → impact stories → get involved.

  • Visual identity refresh – Incorporating natural, warm tones with community-focused imagery and clean typography.

  • Content restructuring – Turning dense information into short, engaging modules like impact highlights and clear calls-to-action.

  • Technical improvements – Ensuring responsiveness, accessibility, fast load times, and intuitive navigation.

How the Problem Was Solved

Through this collaborative redesign, Trybal Mark transformed GSI’s website into a clear, engaging, and mission-driven platform:

  • The homepage now opens with a strong message — “Caring for the Earth, Loving Our Neighbour” — alongside powerful imagery of nature and community.

  • The programmes page uses interactive cards that invite visitors to explore each initiative easily.

  • The Get Involved section now offers clear options to volunteer, donate, partner, or subscribe, with well-placed buttons for quick action.

  • Behind the scenes, Trybal Mark integrated analytics tools so GSI can monitor engagement and adjust their strategy effectively.

 

Results & Impact

The results have been remarkable:

  • GSI now has a modern, credible online presence that reflects their values and impact.

  • Visitors find it easier to understand GSI’s mission and take meaningful action.

  • The organization can now track data and make informed decisions to grow its digital reach.

The next phase will focus on continuous content updates — stories, blogs, and impact galleries — while optimizing calls-to-action and enhancing social media integration.
